Course Description
Beginner’s Art Class 1
Welcome to the Beginners Art Class 1. This class is intended to prepare you artistically for all the tattooing you will be covering in our Tattoo program for levels 1 and 2. The difference between our art class and any other art class you can find anywhere, is that we focus primarily on art in preparation for tattooing.
Designs range from extremely basic, up to extremely intricate.
Lessons include:
Lines that move from one point to another whereby someone can visualize the smoothness of the stroke.
Shapes that make up objects and animations with character and personality.
Geometrical shapes, defined by mathematics, or more organic shapes as created by an artist.
Color as seen when light strikes an object and is reflected back into the eye. Hue, value, and chroma are described.
Space, positive and negative used to describe the surface quality of the work.
Value which refers to the degree of perceivable lightness of tones within the image you are working with.
Texture which is used to describe the surface of your work.
If you’ve never had a formal post-secondary art education and are considering a legitimate career in tattooing, Beginners Art 1 is an extremely important fundamental course for you.
This Course Includes:
– 26 Weeks (6 months/52 hours) of live classes with your instructor on zoom.
– Zoom sessions will all be recorded and uploaded every week in case you missed anything.
– Students will also have access to various theory and tutorial videos of in-depth explanations on the
concepts, tools and techniques to execute high level beginner art.

Marina is the best teacher I’ve had by far and I’ve been in school for like 15 years off and on plus grade school. I came in class completely overwhelmed and defeated and convinced there was no way I could possible pull off the assignments. She pushes you in a good way. She definitely knows what she is doing in her curriculum to make students advance very quickly. She encouraging and constructive without being like, meh ya know, and she’s super involved and cares about everyone excelling. Real talk, if not for Marina for a teacher pushing me and encouraging me I possibly would have left school. Marina is absolutely the best!! I can go on for hours about the quality of person and art instructor she is!! Every week I am excited for class and anxious to learn more to improve my craft and better my art skills and not once has she let me down. Marina gives the proper light beneath you or nudge that pushes you and raises the bar in your skill set, but at the same time doesn’t make you feel the pressure or nervousness of venturing into areas you are unfamiliar.
