ADVANCED BODY PIERCING PROGRAM – 160 HOURS
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
This advanced program provides instruction in professional body piercing through theory, laboratory practice and supervised services. Students develop deeper knowledge of placement, anatomy, jewelry, safety, complications and client care.
DURATION
The live Overview describes a 120-hour program completed over four weeks.
DELIVERY MODALITY
The program is offered onsite at the school campus.
ONSITE CLASS SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
CREDENTIAL AWARDED
After successfully completing the program requirements, students receive a diploma.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This program includes instruction in all aspects necessary for the body piercing profession. Students learn about body piercing rules and regulations, safety and sanitation, indications, contraindications, managing complications, side effects, stations and client care, body piercing techniques, body piercing jewelry, tools, and procedures. Students receive 70 hours of theory instruction, 35 hours of laboratory practice, and 15 hours of hands-on live practice and services.
